The festival of lights, Deepavali, was celebrated with great devotion and joy at Sacred Hearts Hr Pry Eng Med School, Kulshekar, on 18th October 2025 in the school hall. The special assembly was conducted by the students of Grade VI B, who presented a meaningful and colourful programme to mark the occasion.
The celebration began with a prayer and prayer service, invoking God’s blessings for peace, prosperity, and happiness. This was followed by a skit that beautifully showcased the importance of the five days of Deepavali, highlighting the victory of good over evil and the spirit of love and togetherness. A graceful dance performance and a melodious song titled “Deepadinda Deepavu” added to the festive atmosphere and filled the hall with joy.
The Headmistress lit the ceremonial diya, symbolizing the triumph of light over darkness. She wished all the students a happy and safe Deepavali. Her kind words and blessings inspired everyone to celebrate the festival with gratitude and goodwill.
