Sports Day at Sacred Hearts’ Hr Pry Kulshekar

The much-awaited Annual Sports Meet of Sacred Hearts’ Hr Pry Eng Med School, Kulshekar was celebrated with great enthusiasm on the 6th & 7th of November 2025.
The event commenced with the arrival of the esteemed Chief Guest Mrs Carol Rosario, teacher and ex alumna, along with Rev Fr Melwyn Dsouza, Superior of St Joseph’s Monastery, Rev Sr Reena BS, Superior of Santa Cruz Convent, President Rev Sr Cicilia Mendonca, the Correspondent, Mrs Sonia Lobo, Vice President of PTA and Sr Rita Sharal, the Headmistress of the school along with the other dignitaries.
The Sports Meet started with disciplinary march past of the four groups along with band and the scout and guide troop and chief guest Mrs Carol received the salute from the marching teams. Rev Fr Melwyn Dsouza, formally inaugurated the sports meet by unveiling the banner.
The lighting of the Kreeda Jyothi, symbolizing the light of hope, knowledge, and life was carried and handed to Rev Sr Reena BS who lit the Sports Torch. This was followed by the oath-taking ceremony, led by Sports Minister Hansuja.
The Chief Guest, Mrs Carol Rosario, then addressed the gathering with inspiring words, motivating students to grab the opportunity.
On November 7th, the Sports Meet continued with great enthusiasm, featuring all the final rounds, as well as sports events for parents and teachers.
Sr Rita Sharal and Mrs Prabha welcomed the dignitaries, words of gratitude was proposed by Ms Jennifred. The event was further enriched by the insightful commentary of Mrs Jennifred and Mrs Sylvia. The event was anchored by Mrs Lovelin.
